Yamhill Valley Lavender Festival
Second Weekend in July
The Yamhill Valley Lavender Growers will hold its annual lavender festival at Wayward Winds Lavender Mercantile, Gallery & Gifts the second weekend in July in the town of Yamhill, Oregon. The festival will have many different vendors setting up booths at the Wayward Winds Lavender Mercantile in Yamhill and there will be farm tours of area farms to include Wayward Winds Lavender, Wild Rain Lavender, Woodland Lavender and Willakenzie Lavender farms.
This festival is an annual event that is a fundraiser for Yamhelas Community Resource Center (YCRC) as well as promoting lavender and the local area growers and their products. We are proud to announce that in 2005 $500 was raised for YCRC and went directly to help the youth in the community.
The 2006 festival was funded in part by a grant from the Yamhill County Cultural Coalition.
